Five steps to your first round
- Get the gameYou need GTA: Vice City on PC and the VC:MP 0.4 multiplayer client from vc-mp.org. Point the VC:MP installer at your GTA: Vice City folder.
- Add the serverOpen the VC:MP browser and add the server IP shown above to your favourites (the Copy IP button copies it). Pick a nickname you want to be known by, then connect.
- Register in gameFirst time in? Type
/register yourpasswordin the game chat. Next time you join, log in with/login yourpassword. This in-game account is separate from your forum account. - Create your forum accountSign up on the forum to get stats, a signature and to post. It works straight away, no waiting.
- Learn the basicsVote a base, pick a weapon set, then attackers capture the checkpoint while defenders hold it. Game Mode explains it, and
/helpand/cmdswork in game.
Stuck?
Do I need a forum account to play?
No. The in-game /register is all you need to play. The forum account adds stats, a signature and posting.
I cannot connect
Check the server card above says Online, and that you are using the VC:MP 0.4 client. Still stuck? Post your problem on Discord.
I forgot my in-game password
Ask a staff member on Discord. They can reset it for you.
