In-game Rules
Following MAGNA's evident success, the set of rules will remain unchanging. Hence, this topic will let you know the rules of the tournament, fundamental for everyone in the community to follow who are participating.
- No death evading
- It is forbidden to quit, suicide with /kill or intentionally crash VC:MP when you are about to die. This is sanctioned with severity.
- No accessing into others' accounts
- You cannot play from an account that is not yours, attempt to breach against the security of accounts, blackmail into another player's account, or any relative action that implies you impersonating another player. This will be punished with a ban.
- The maximum level of lag permitted is 300 Ping and 25 FPS. Whoever is above 300ms and below 25 FPS, will be automatically removed from the ongoing match. If you have connection issues it is encouraged that you fix them before applying to the event.
- RPG close range is prohibited. Using RPG within the range of 20m will lead to removal from the round instantly and the opponent who was killed will be added back in the round at the same position where he got killed. Round will be paused for re-adds and removals for minimal damage/loss. Three RPG warns will lead to a ban from the set in the rest of the tournament.
- Any attempt from moderators or administrators of abusing power in favor or against a determined team, using administrative commands in order to gain the advantage of them, will be issued a penalty.
- No wall-glitch. Wallglitch is automatically disallowed by the script in this event. However, there is a possibility of wg in a few bases such NPM, we request you to avoid doing it otherwise it may lead to a replay of the round without any second start.
- Any illegal modification, aimbot, airlock, speed hack, gravity hack, or related hacks that produce an unfair advantage over other players will be sanctioned with the strictest punitive action.
- Respectful Behaviour
- Racism and unnecessary chaotic behavior is not tolerated. (Trash Talking is only acceptable to a healthy extent, don't take it too far.)
- No arguments with the staff team. If you think you've been wronged, just put up your problem to the head referee in the match instead of initiating arguments and your problem will be looked into.
- Usage of Greenless mod is prohibited. You can be asked to take a screenshot mid-round by the staff if you seem suspicious, in that case, cooperate with the staff team. Any attempt to quit, while you're being asked to snd a screenshot will be considered as evasion and proper measures will be taken against the evader.
Organisation Rules
- No match will be played without a referee. In every match, you will be assigned a head referee who will make the final decision regarding any mishappenings during the event and other referees must follow the task assigned to them.
- The maximum waiting for the match to start is 30 minutes. Staff will wait for thirty minutes and if the opposing team fails to show up, the match will be given to the team who kept waiting. However, If the waiting team wants to postpone the match and play at a later date, it is fine.
- If a match is not completed on a set date, a decision on the match will collectively be made by the staff.
- Staff can't wait more than three minutes after a round finishes. They will run a timer on the screen using a command which will be visible to everyone present thus leaving no excuse for arguments.
- The match will never be paused or stopped unless there is a bug or any wrongdoings by the staff. Don't request for stopping in mid-round as your request will be discarded.
- If you find some bug during the event or any wrong decision by the staff, argumentation is fine but leaving the server out of rage is a bad approach. It is requested to do what referees ask you to do and later on you can challenge the decision and it will be discussed within the Executive team.
- High pingers and low FPS players will be removed automatically from the round. However, they can be re-added only twice if the first blood isn't done and a player who was removed didn't take any damage so far.
- The head referee's decision is the final word and must be accepted by both parties at any cost. If you still think you were wronged you can take the matter to the executives after the match and your problem will be discussed thoroughly and appropriate decisions will be taken.
- If you are a captain of a team and your team challenges the decision of the staff managing the match, it is requested that you don't involve yourself in staff discussion. Staff excluding those team players will discuss with head referees and announce the outcomes. Don't disturb the staff while they are in the process of decision-making.
- All the referees are requested to follow the instructions or decisions announced by the assigned head-referee. If any referee fails to do so will face consequences. However, it is also suggested not to make any fuss during the match, handle it in a mature way.
- No Leaking. There is no compromise with leaking. Any staff member found leaking the spots to other team or sharing the private conversation with outsiders will result in a direct kick from the staff without any prior warning.
- Only team Captains or Vice Captains (if allowed by captain) can discuss the schedule, other comments posted by team members will be removed.
