Community Rules:
These are the rules regarding community interaction within the Server, Discord, and Forums:
- Advertisement: Players must not invite other players to other VC:MP servers in public or server PMs. General discussion about other servers is allowed, but advertising them to others is prohibited.
- Appropriate use of Channels: Players must use the Discord channels and forum topics only for their intended purposes. Going excessively off-topic within these channels and topics is prohibited.
- Argument: Players must not excessively verbally fight with other players. Quarreling within private Discord DMs is not our concern, but bringing that within VCAD’s Server, Discord or Forums is prohibited.
- Discrimination: Players must not harass other players based on their race, nation, religion, gender, sexuality, or disability. Prejudice against others based on their differences is prohibited.
- Evasion: Players must not evade mutes, kicks, or bans issued to them by staff members. Ban appeals and staff reports topics exist on the forums for this purpose instead and going around these punishments by using other methods is prohibited.
- False Accusation: Players must not make false allegations or reports against other players while knowing that they are untrue. Lack of knowledge and experience may be excused, but malicious intent while falsely accusing others is prohibited.
- Impersonation: Players must not imitate other players or clans / gangs they are not a member of by using their identity. Joining the server, (with or without registering,) on someone else’s nick or with a clan / gang tag that’s not theirs is also prohibited.
- Misguidance: Players must not deceive other players, including beginners who may be in need of help. Posting malicious links or files is also prohibited.
- NSFW Postage: Players must not post adult material. Postage of nudity, pornography or gore is prohibited.
- Obstruction: Players must not obstruct staff members while they are serving their duties. Excessively unnecessarily tagging Managers, Administrators or Moderators is also prohibited.
- Privacy: Players must not post details or images of other players’ real lives. Invading other people’s privacy is prohibited.
- VCAD Attack: Players must not attack the VCAD Server, Discord, or Forums by any means. Attempting to obstruct the well being of any of VCAD’s services is prohibited.
- Spam / Flood: Players must not excessively post the same message or drag out posts to excessively fill the chat with messages. Misbehavior of this kind is prohibited.
- Toxicity: Players must show respect when communicating with other players. Excessive flaming against others is prohibited.
Server Rules:
These are the rules regarding gameplay within the Server.
- Account Trade: Players must not buy, sell or trade accounts with other players. Accounts registered on VCAD’s Server or Forums are VCAD’s property and the trade of VCAD’s entities is prohibited.
- Bad Game Quality: Players must not purposely reduce their FPS or increase their ping with the use of a VPN to gain an unfair advantage over other players. Reducing FPS by enabling the frame limiter is not prohibited.
- Bug abuse: Players must not exploit existing bugs within the game or server’s script. Accessing the “ghost world” is also prohibited.
- CR with the RPG: Players must not use the RPG within set 6 within 20m of the opposing team. CQB combat with the RPG falls under “close range” which is prohibited.
- CP Pause: Players must not pause their game or tab out while capturing the checkpoint. Abusing the server’s script in this way is prohibited.
- Evasion: Players must not intentionally discredit deaths caused either by other players or the world, or evade mutes or bans issued to them by staff members. Ban appeals and staff reports topics exist on the forums for this purpose instead and going around these punishments using other methods is prohibited.
- FPV Glitch: Players must not exploit the first person view mode with certain weapons to gain an unfair advantage over other players. Doing this with the M60, Ruger or M4 Rifles is prohibited.
- Hacks / Cheats: Players must not use any external modifications that would not be accessible in the vanilla version of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to affect their gameplay or gain an unfair advantage over other players. Increasing FPS over 60 frames or Widescreen Fix is also prohibited.
- Macros / Hotkeys: Players must not use third party macros or hotkeys to gain an unfair advantage against other players. Using keybinds that would not normally be possible in the vanilla version of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is prohibited.
- Multi-Account: Players must not use other accounts other than the first one they registered with. Playing under aliases with different nicknames is also prohibited.
- Stat Padding: Players must not gain kills through illegitimate combat for the purpose of increasing their statistics. Stat padding any value in /stats is prohibited.
- Team grief: Players must not purposely assist the opposing team’s players by hindering players on their own team. Inflicting damage on a vehicle a teammate is driving is also prohibited.
- Throwable Weapon Glitch: Players must not exploit the “grenade glitch” to gain an unfair advantage over other players. Performing this glitch with the Remote Grenade, Molotov or Tear Gas throwable weapons is also prohibited.
- Wall Glitch: Any kind of Wall Glitch is prohibited by the script except for Shotgun Weapon. If any player found abusing this to gain an unfair advantage may result in punishment by the staff.
